Report by William Bryce - Infants trip to Tropical Wings

On Tuesday 15th May the infants department went to Tropical Wings.  They travelled by coach early in the morning.  When they got there they looked firstly at the wallabies.  A lot of the children though they looked like kangaroos.  Then they saw the rabbitts which they said were so cute.  After that it was on to the tortoises which we very slow and the horses that were very tall.  They also saw some chickens.  The children also went to the shop to spend their pocket money.  They then enjoyed a lovely picnic.  IN the afternoon they had a talk about all the different animals, they then had a chance to stroke the skunks (phew) and some rats (yikes).  Next they went to the butterfly house which was very hot.  After that they had some fun in the indoor play area.

Time Capsule laid in foundations!

Pupils in RLS and 1BS together with members of School Council have laid a time capsule in the foundations of our new classrooms today. With the help of Site Manager, Callum and a big digger the capsule containing pictures, photos, newspapers, prayers and lots more where placed in the foundations for years to come. Josh, Molly, Daisy, Thea, Finley, Sam and Faiza wrote a special prayer which was read out as the time capsule was buried. The prayer read 'Dear God, Please help everyone to be happy in our new school building. Thank you for letting the builders build our new classrooms. Amen'.
