On the 10th
of June 2014 our year 6's took a trip to Weston Homes Community Stadium (Colchester United) to take part in an event that teaches young children like us to stay
safe around things like fire, railway lines, internet safety and smoking all of
which we learnt a lot about. Everyone really enjoyed the day and the most popular
activity seemed to be the railway police. We met some public services workers
there and they shared some real life scenarios with us which we all enjoyed.
They definitely have got the message across to us… be safe!
