This
week, the year six children have been doing tests set by the government, called
SATS. There are six tests in the week. These are: an English comprehension, a
grammar and punctuation test, a spelling test, an arithmetic test and two
problem solving and reasoning tests.
So far, we have done 5 of the six tests
and as we have been preparing for them for so long, most people are starting to
enjoy doing them. Before all of the tests, Mrs Gibson tells us, “Officially,
good luck- unofficially, smash it!” Everyone is especially pleased as we have
been going into school early, playing games and eating bacon rolls!
